SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (Special Needs) to support individuals with developmental, behavioral, cognitive, physical, and sensory challenges.

The successful candidate will assess functional abilities, develop individualized intervention plans, and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services aimed at maximizing independence, participation, and quality of life.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid DOH License as an Occupational Therapist or DOH Eligibility.
• Minimum experience as required by DOH regulations.
• Experience working with individuals with special needs, developmental disorders, or rehabilitation patients is preferred.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for individuals with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and functional abilities.
• Provide therapy services for individuals with ASD, intellectual and developmental disabilities, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, learning disabilities, and neurological/physical conditions.
• Assess and improve fine motor, gross motor, sensory integration, self-care, social, and daily living skills.
• Educate and train families, caregivers, and support staff on therapeutic strategies and home programs.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, physicians, educators, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
