Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate registered nurse license.
• Maintain professional re-licensure.
• Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care and educate patients and the public about health conditions.
• Assess and implement the patient care plan with the health team in various settings.
• Perform systematic patient assessment and data collection.
• Record vital signs and address abnormalities.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Support obstetric and neonatal care including labor and delivery procedures.
• Act as team leader in absence of supervisor and delegate tasks as needed.
• Promote safe environment and high standards of care.
