Job summary

NMC Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to oversee the nursing department. You will supervise staff, coordinate administrative and clinical activities, and ensure patient safety and efficient bed and resource use.

The role requires leadership, strategic scheduling, collaboration with other departments, adherence to OSH and infection control policies, and active participation in hospital committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in outpatient department with at least 2 years in charge nurse or equivalent.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Arabic advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises and coordinates all nursing department activities.
• Ensure patient safety and appropriate staffing coverage for unscheduled absences.
• Plan staff scheduling, duty rosters, and orientations for new staff.
• Coordinate patient placement, admissions, transfers and ambulance movement.
• Maintain OSH, infection control and waste management compliance; participate in hospital committees.
