Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize nursery classrooms, play areas, corridors, washrooms, staff areas, and shared spaces according to daily cleaning schedules.
• Maintain a hygienic environment that supports the health, safety, and comfort of children and nursery staff.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces, toys, tables, chairs, door handles, and learning areas using approved cleaning materials.
• Keep washrooms, changing areas, and child activity zones clean, stocked, and ready for safe use throughout the day.
• Handle waste disposal carefully and follow nursery procedures for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
• Report maintenance issues, spills, damaged items, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Support housekeeping tasks before and after nursery activities, meal times, play sessions, and school events.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly while following proper storage and handling procedures.
• Follow infection control guidelines and maintain high standards of cleanliness in a child-focused setting.
• Work politely with teachers, nursery staff, parents, and colleagues while maintaining a professional attitude.

Ideal Profile

• At least 1 year of cleaner or housekeeping experience.
• Previous experience in a nursery, school, childcare center, clinic, hotel, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cleaning routines, hygiene standards, and safe use of cleaning products.
• Able to work around young children with patience, care, and attention to safety.
• Physically fit and able to manage daily cleaning duties across classrooms and common areas.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and willing to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Professional behavior with the ability to maintain privacy and respect in a nursery environment.
