Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Staff Nurse in Abu Dhabi to provide age-appropriate patient care and uphold the Nursing Scope of Practice under HAAD policies. The role emphasizes leadership, evidence-based care, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise junior staff, mentor new nurses, participate in performance reviews, and contribute to continuous patient safety and quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience post-qualification (or equivalent internship)
• Must comply with HA-AD nursing standards and Abu Dhabi policy
• Ability to supervise junior staff and provide preceptorship

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate patient care per Nursing Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates professional leadership to patients and health care team
• Promotes collaborative practice and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Supervises nurses and junior staff to ensure safe, effective care
• Acts as preceptor to new staff and participates in performance reviews
• Documents care and uses information technology/EMR systems
• Ensures patient safety, infection control and adherence to policies
• Participates in discharge planning and patient/family education
