Job summary

Novotel World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. You will handle guest arrivals and departures, manage billing and settlements, and produce accurate night audits and balance reports to close the day’s books.

You will coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and security, assist guests with late-night requests, provide wake-up calls and information about facilities, and maintain up-to-date

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front desk is preferred.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is beneficial.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using computers and basic accounting software.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Complete guest arrivals and departures in line with procedures.
• Inform guests about stay conditions and hotel services.
• Coordinate with other departments and front-desk staff.
• Ensure room documentation and provisions are up-to-date.
• Block rooms for early arrivals and proper allocation for guests/groups.
• Write reports on night activities and incidents.
• Ensure correct billing and check-out processes.
• Perform night audit, balance checks and rate verification.
• Reconcile guest balances and close daily ledgers with Finance.
