Job summary

Novotel World Trade Centre in Dubai is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure smooth hotel operations during the night shift. You will handle guest arrivals and departures, billing, and balance reconciliation while maintaining high service standards.

You will collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance and security, respond to emergencies, and provide guest information on facilities and local attractions. Prior front desk experience and basic accounting skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer service or front desk role is often preferred.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping may be beneficial.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using computers and basic accounting software.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks related to guest arrival and departure per procedures.
• Inform guests about stay conditions and hotel services (wake-up calls, telephone, email, fax, safe deposit).
• Pass information to other departments and front desk team.
• Prepare room allocations for early arrivals and groups.
• Write a report on nightly activities and incidents.
• Ensure guest documentation at reception is up-to-date.
• Ensure correct billing and check-out procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance to close daily city ledgers.
