Job summary

Amazon seeks a Manager to lead network losses reduction across RoW markets, driving improvements through data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration with FC/transportation operations and business partners.

The role requires strong problem solving, negotiating, and stakeholder management skills, with a background in operations or process improvement and a data-driven mindset. A related bachelor's degree is required, with a master's/MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders.
• 5 years of Operations / process improvement hands-on waste reduction experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements in operations; knowledge of analytical tools is a plus.
• Ability to write data-driven proposals and perform own data analysis.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.

The scope of impact spans across RoW markets focused at reduction of network losses arising from Shrinkage Damage Concessions or combination of these within operations across supply chain and in close collaboration with FC/transportation Operations ACES SL&P Products CS and RCX/NCRC business partners.

Ownership of work is extremely important and candidates should have a proven record of driving operations process fixes and strategic initiatives to completion. Key job responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding hands on experience of operational processes across supply chain.
• Deep diving and analyzing operational data to arrive root causes for losses - invent or replicate solutions to those root causes track impact.
• Improve operational processes by Standardization of metrics processes SOPs across RoW markets related to network losses
• Driving product implementation in operations and/or operational process solutions to eliminate losses
• 5 years of Operations / process improvement hands on waste reduction experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements in operations. Existing Knowledge or ability to learn analytical tools will be helpful.
• Experience owning end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelors degree in Material Science Packaging Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Operations or related field
• Ability to write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals performing own data analysis
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables vlookups etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/stake holders simultaneously
• Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
• Knowledge and experience in waste reduction process improvements network losses areas
