Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure the organization's network infrastructure across offices, data centres, cloud environments, and remote locations.

The role requires 5–8 years of enterprise networking experience and strong expertise in LAN/WAN, VPNs, and security. You will troubleshoot incidents, support digital transformation initiatives, and contribute to vendor selection and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, networking or a related field.
• CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent certifications preferred.
• 5–8 years of enterprise network administration and support experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor, secure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity across offices, data centres, cloud environments and remote locations.
• Troubleshoot incidents, outages, and performance issues within agreed SLAs.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and provide specifications for IT projects.

Work Location: Abu Dhabi (Offshore visits as per job requirements).

Leave Cycle : 150/30 – on single status / 335/30 – on family status (applicable after completion of Probation period)

Air Ticket : Round trip - Economy class provided

Medical : Health Insurance provided

Accommodation : Single-status accommodation will be provided during the period of single status.

Working Hours : 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week)

Salary : AED 12,000 - Max

Status : Family status benefits will become applicable upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Qualification (minimum) : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.

Professional certifications preferred: CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.

Job Description

and security of business-critical systems and communications

• Supports digital transformation initiatives, business operations, cybersecurity requirements, and future technology growth by providing stable and scalable network services across offices, data centres, cloud environments, and remote locations.
• Design, implement, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues within agreed service levels
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support the Head in providing specifications of IT related projects in order to facilitate the technical evaluation and vendor selection process.
• Monitor and report network availability, utilization, capacity, security events, and SLA performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Implement and maintain network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NAC, and network segmentation.
• Support cloud networking solutions in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments.
• Support for ISMS frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
• Manage data centre network infrastructure and connectivity between corporate, cloud, and offshore/remote locations.

Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Certified with CISCO, Palo Alto10
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
