Job summary

BRILLIANT FEKRA TALENTED CHILDREN DEVELOPMENT - L. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a caring nanny to join the classroom team. You will support teachers daily, ensuring every child in Fekra Buds is safe, clean, fed, and happy in a warm, play-based setting.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of childcare experience, basic English (Arabic a plus), and be physically capable of lifting and cleaning tasks. Immediate availability and UAE residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a nanny, nursery assistant, or childcare helper preferred.
• Genuinely loves working with young children; patient, gentle, and kind.
• High standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Flexible and trustworthy team player.
• Basic English; Arabic is a plus.
• Physically fit to lift children and clean.
• Currently in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Living in or near Baniyas preferred.
• First Aid / CPR certificate is nice to have.
• Experience with toddlers aged 2–3 (toilet training, nap routines).

Responsibilities

• Help teachers during class activities, circle time, arts and crafts, and play sessions.
• Watch the children closely at all times, indoors and during transitions, so every child is safe.
• Help the children with handwashing, toileting, nappy changes, and changing clothes.
• Help with snack and meal times: serve food, help the children eat, and follow any allergy or dietary notes.
• Keep the classroom clean and tidy: toys, tables, mats, and bathrooms, before, during, and after the day.
• Sanitise toys and surfaces according to the centre's hygiene checklist.
• Get the classroom ready each morning and reset it at the end of the day.
• Help with drop-off and pick-up, and make sure each child goes home only with an authorised adult.
• Tell the teacher straight away about any injury, illness, or behaviour concern.
• Help across other programmes and rooms when needed; flexibility is important in this role.

Fekra Centre is a licensed children's development centre in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi. Our early-years programme, Fekra Buds, looks after children aged 2–5 in a warm, safe, play-based setting. We're looking for a caring, reliable nanny to join our classroom team.

• Able to provide a Good Conduct Certificate
• Living in or near Baniyas is preferred
