Job summary

Bloom Education in Abu Dhabi seeks a Nursery Teaching Assistant for our Bani Yas facility. The role supports the EY Supervisor, prepares materials, and helps create a safe, engaging environment for young learners.

The ideal candidate holds a Vocational Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education, a Diploma with at least 100 hours of training, and at least two years of nursery experience in the UAE. Bilingual Arabic and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the EY Supervisor in preparing the classroom, learning materials, and daily activities.
• Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Engage children through play, storytelling, songs, and age‑appropriate learning activities.
• Observe and support children’s learning and development, maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with children’s daily care routines.
• Ensure the classroom, equipment, and learning resources are clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Supervise children at all times, including outdoor play, trips, and bus arrivals/departures, ensuring their safety.
• Communicate professionally with parents and collaborate with colleagues.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and support nursery events when required.

Requirements

• Vocational Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education.
• Diploma with evidence of Early Childhood training of no less than 100 hours.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a nursery setting.
• Experience in nurseries in the UAE will be an advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic and English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with staff in a diverse multi‑cultural environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism, commitment and integrity.
