Job summary

Wasael Property Management is seeking a Draftsman – Engineering Specialzed to prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects in Abu Dhabi. You will support engineers by producing accurate drawings, layouts, and technical documentation in line with standards.

The role emphasizes CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/Civil 3D/MicroStation), collaboration with project teams, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with a focus on continuous improvement and digital

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology is advantageous.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM or Revit certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, sections, profiles and illustrations for municipal and transportation projects.
• Develop layouts for roads, bridges, drainage, utilities and traffic infrastructure.
• Convert sketches and specifications into accurate drawings.
• Assist engineers in design packages and documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with design criteria and project requirements.
• Produce and update drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Maintain drawing databases and revision history; archive correctly.
• Create as-built drawings and construction drawings when required.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, planners, architects and project teams.
• Review drawings for completeness and compliance with codes and standards.
