Job summary

MediaSource FZC is seeking a Draftsman to prepare and revise technical drawings for municipal infrastructure, transportation, and public works projects. You will convert field data and sketches into precise CAD drawings, maintain version control, and support engineers with design deliverables.

The role requires 2–5 years in drafting, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with civil/municipal standards. Collaboration with project teams and site verification may be part of duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in drafting or related field.
• Technical certifications in AutoCAD or drafting software preferred.
• 2–5 years of drafting/technical drawing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, plans, layouts, sections, profiles, and detailed illustrations based on project requirements.
• Convert sketches and field measurements into accurate drawings.
• Produce drawings for roads, utilities, municipal infrastructure, and public facilities.
• Assist in preparation of design and construction drawings and ensure accuracy before review.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and version control.
• Update drawings to reflect approved design changes and client feedback.
• Assist in gathering technical information and coordinating with project teams.
