Family Assist in Ajman, United Arab Emirates is seeking a Hands-on Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in handyman or maintenance work, with skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

English fluency and strong communication are essential. You will handle routine maintenance, simple repairs, and customer service tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as handyman or maintenance technician.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit to perform manual labor tasks.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, changing light bulbs, and repairing broken fixtures.
• Perform minor repairs on furniture, walls, doors, and windows.
• Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and appliances.
• Assist with painting projects and other small renovations.
• Keep track of inventory for supplies and equipment needed for repairs.
• Communicate with customers to understand their maintenance needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
