Job summary

Abroad Work is hiring a Handyman/Maintenance Technician for our Ajman site. You will perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC upkeep while responding to tenant requests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Technician.
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
• Good communication skills in English (fluency preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have own visa (preferred).
• Prior experience working on a contract basis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and furniture assembly.
• Handle plumbing repairs and installations, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues such as faulty outlets and light fixtures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Respond to tenant requests for repairs in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities.
