Job summary

Abroad Work is hiring a Handyman/Maintenance Technician for our Ajman site. You will perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC upkeep while responding to tenant requests.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, good English communication, ability to work independently, and a valid visa. We welcome applicants including women and offer a competitive monthly salary of 1500 USD.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Technician.
Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
Good communication skills in English (fluency preferred).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have own visa (preferred).
Prior experience working on a contract basis is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Perform basic carpentry tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and furniture assembly.
Handle plumbing repairs and installations, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues such as faulty outlets and light fixtures.
Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
Respond to tenant requests for repairs in a timely manner.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities.
