Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton Sharjah is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment, and keep the hotel facilities operating smoothly. You will inspect tools, identify shut-offs, use Lockout/Tagout, perform surface preparation and light repairs, and communicate daily activities with other shifts.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required; hotel maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in general maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment.
• Visual inspection and basic repair of tools and equipment.
• Identify shut-off valves and operate building utilities safely.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Paint, surface preparation, and light drywall/wood trim repairs.
