Job summary

Edari in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Executive Director to build, launch and lead a new Freight Forwarding business from inception, owning the end-to-end strategy, regulatory setup and multi‑modal operations across air, ocean, road and customs.

You will recruit and shape the leadership team, establish an international network, select technology such as CargoWise, and drive P&L performance while partnering with government authorities and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in freight forwarding or international logistics.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership with P&L ownership.
• Experience launching or scaling GCC-based freight operations.
• Strong network with airlines, carriers and international partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build and launch of a new multimodal freight forwarding business in UAE.
• Oversee regulatory, licensing, and governance requirements.
• Develop international network strategy and partner ecosystem.
• Drive technology implementation and end-to-end process design.
• Ensure profitable P&L delivery and financial stewardship.
