Job summary

Riviera FZE, an oil terminal operator in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, seeks an organized accountant to manage daily accounting, data entry, and financial reporting onsite. You will ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance and support the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets.

The role involves drafting contracts, coordinating onboarding, and negotiating terms with vendors and clients, while managing invoices in multiple currencies and maintaining KYC records.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily accounting, bookkeeping, and data entry.
• Familiarity with VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Ability to draft and review contracts and other commercial documents.
• Experience handling invoicing and multi-currency transactions.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Tally and QuickBooks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, bookkeeping, and data entry.
• Handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filings.
• Assist with preparation and finalization of financial statements and balance sheets.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Follow up with customers on payments, documentation, and operational matters.
• Prepare internal accounting and financial reports.
• Manage daily expenses, petty cash, and related records.
• Prepare offer letters and coordinate hiring and onboarding of new employees.
• Negotiate commercial terms with vendors and clients.
• Conduct KYC and compliance checks for clients and cargo.
• Maintain and update client KYC documentation and records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of accounting, compliance, and administrative requirements.
• Prepare and issue invoices in multiple currencies, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting records.
