Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District and Hyatt Place Dubai Baniyas Square seek an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department across both properties, ensuring safe, efficient operations and high standards of maintenance. You will guide preventive programs, manage budgets and coordinate with other departments to meet guest expectations.

Competenze

• Experience as Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in a hotel or similar environment.
• Experience managing engineering operations across multiple properties is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water systems, boilers and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team development skills.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and facilities management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and fire-life-safety standards.
• Budgeting, procurement and contractor-management experience.
• Hands-on, pragmatic problem-solver with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualifications preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage the Engineering Department across two Hyatt Place properties.
• Oversee daily operation, maintenance and performance of building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.
• Ensure timely completion of corrective maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff across both hotels.
• Plan team schedules and allocate resources for priorities.
• Monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life-safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgets, operating costs, contractors and service agreements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments and external authorities.
• Respond to emergencies and support renovation or capital projects.
• Keep guest rooms and public areas safe, functional and well maintained.
