Job summary

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is seeking an Accounting Office Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations. You will perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, ensuring P&L accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires 5 years of finance experience (including 4 years on property) or a Master’s in Finance/Accounting with no work experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related major with 5 years of experience (including 4 years on property)
• OR Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with no work experience required
• Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, P&L, and budgeting
• Proficiency in basic computer hardware and software
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and mathematical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in management, strategic planning, and resource allocation

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office
• Perform financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, and cash control
• Ensure P&L accuracy and timely report delivery
• Monitor actual vs. projected sales and budgeted vs. actual wages
• Lead and manage a team of 8 direct reports
• Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes
• Develop and execute business plans to meet stakeholder needs
