Finance Operations Leader – P&L, Budgeting & Audit

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is a dynamic 5-star hotel located in the heart of Dubai's downtown district. As part of the Marriott International luxury portfolio, we provide award-winning service and modern luxury in one of the world's tallest hotel structures.

We are seeking a finance leader to manage the Accounting Office, deliver accurate P&L and budgets, and guide a team of eight ensuring timely reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5 years of experience (including 4 years on property)
• OR Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with no work experience required
• Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, P&L, and budgeting
• Proficiency in basic computer hardware and software
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage financial resources and purchasing/materials management

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office
• Perform financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, and cash control
• Ensure P&L accuracy and timely report delivery
• Monitor actual vs. projected sales and budgeted vs. actual wages
• Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes
• Lead and manage a team of 8 direct reports
• Develop and execute business plans to meet stakeholder needs
