Job summary

PHRS Hospitality Experts in Dubai seeks an experienced Mixologist to join the luxury F&B team. You will craft exquisite cocktails, develop beverage menus, and drive guest experiences in a high-end setting.

You will lead the bar operations, mentor staff, stay ahead of global cocktail trends, and contribute to revenue while controlling costs. A strong luxury hospitality background and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotels or high-end venues.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Middle East luxury hospitality experience is a plus.
• Professional hospitality qualification or hotel school diploma.
• Fluent English required.

PHRS Hospitality Experts is currently looking for an experienced and creative Mixologist to join the Food & Beverage team of a prestigious luxury hospitality property in Dubai, UAE.

This opportunity is ideal for a beverage professional with a strong luxury hospitality background, deep knowledge of mixology and international cocktail trends, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role

As a Mixologist, you will play a key role in the day-to-day bar operations, ensuring consistently high standards of beverage preparation, presentation, and guest service.

Beyond preparing exceptional cocktails, you will contribute to the development of beverage menus, introduce new concepts and trends, and support the training and development of the restaurant and bar team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines creativity, technical beverage knowledge, guest engagement, and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the bar and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Prepare and present cocktails and beverages according to the highest luxury service standards.
• Contribute to the creation, development, and continuous improvement of cocktail and beverage menus.
• Stay up to date with international cocktail, beverage, and F&B trends and introduce innovative ideas to the operation.
• Train and mentor restaurant and bar team members, strengthening their cocktail and beverage knowledge.
• Engage confidently with guests and provide personalized beverage recommendations.
• Maintain consistently high standards of beverage quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Support beverage inventory control and ensure products are properly managed.
• Contribute to achieving and exceeding beverage revenue targets while maintaining effective cost control.
• Participate in daily pre-service briefings and ensure strong communication across the team.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance throughout the outlet.
• Support a collaborative, professional, and high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mixologist within luxury hotels, premium restaurants, cocktail bars, or similar high-end hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, ingredients, techniques, and international beverage trends.
• Previous luxury hospitality experience in the Middle East is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional certification, hospitality qualification, or hotel school diploma.
• Strong guest engagement and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury environment.
• Ability to train, mentor, and share beverage knowledge with other team members.
• Strong commercial awareness, including beverage sales, upselling, cost control, and inventory.
• Fluent English is required.
• Additional languages such as Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish, or German are highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a World's 50 Best cocktail bar or recognition in a reputable cocktail competition is considered a strong advantage.
