HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks an experienced interior designer to translate client briefs into cohesive FF&E and styling solutions. You will balance design sensibility with commercial awareness, coordinating with sales and project teams from concept to delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of professional interior design experience, strong drawing and presentation skills, and familiarity with UAE suppliers and standards. A driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the job

This role plays a key role in translating client briefs and design intent into cohesive, well-curated FF&E and styling solutions. The role combines creative design thinking with strong coordination skills, supporting the sales and project teams from concept development through to project delivery. This position requires a balance of design sensibility, commercial awareness, and technical understanding, with the ability to manage multiple live projects in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design & Styling

• Interpret client briefs, look & feel references, renders, and floor plans to develop complete FF&E proposals.
• Curate selections across furniture, decorative lighting, rugs, artwork, plants, and accessories.
• Create mood boards, styling decks, and sample kits that clearly communicate design direction and concept.
• Conduct space planning and prepare basic renders or visualizations when required.
• Develop bespoke or off-the-shelf solutions aligned with project budgets, timelines, and The Bowery Company's brand DNA.
• Ensure consistency in design quality, aesthetics, and storytelling across all presentations.

Client & Project Management

• Take detailed client briefs directly from sales (B2B), developers, and operators.
• Participate in and lead design presentations, workshops, and client meetings, clearly explaining design rationale and product selections.
• Manage multiple live projects simultaneously, tracking progress from concept design through to delivery.
• Coordinate with estimation, procurement, and logistics teams (when required) to ensure smooth workflow and accurate BOQs.
• Oversee samples, mock-ups, and client approvals to maintain design integrity and project alignment.

Commercial Integration

• Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to ensure all design proposals align with project targets and revenue goals.
• Support project conversion through strong design presentations, storytelling, and value-driven solutions.
• Monitor pipeline progress and assist sales in identifying specification and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure design documentation contributes to successful project wins, repeat business, and long-term client relationships.

Technical & Documentation

• Prepare, update, and manage FF&E schedules and BOQs in coordination with the estimation team.
• Maintain brand catalogues, material libraries, and reference decks in line with company standards.
• Ensure all project folders, drawings, samples, and client documentation are organized, accurate, and presentation ready.
• Assist in maintaining internal design templates, standards, and best practices.

Flexibility & Additional Support

• Support operational or business-related tasks as requested by management based on business needs.
• Be willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events when required.
• Prepare BOQs aligned with budgets.
• Support project conversion through design.
• Identify upselling opportunities.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably within the UAE or GCC. Experience in commercial, or high-end interior projects is preferred. Strong understanding of the complete interior design process, from concept development through execution and handover. Proven experience in preparing design presentations, technical drawings, specifications, and FF&E schedules. Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and project teams. Good knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, lighting, fabrics, joinery, and material applications. Familiarity with UAE suppliers, materials, and project requirements would be an advantage.
