Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fraud, risk, or compliance investigations.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills with high attention to accuracy.
• Experience working in AML, sanctions, or regulatory compliance environments.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex case investigations.
• Fluency in Japanese at business level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate denied entities and compliance alerts generated through screening systems.
• Perform customer due diligence and KYC reviews across multiple operational workflows.
• Analyze complex transactions to determine compliance risks.
• Support audit responses and handle external regulatory inquiries.
• Provide guidance to investigators and operations teams.
• Identify gaps in compliance processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing training opportunities for compliance workflows.
• Monitor and achieve defined KPIs and productivity targets.
