Job summary

AECOM in Dubai seeks a Senior Planning Engineer specialized in Microtunneling to oversee planning and execution of complex projects in urban environments. You will develop and maintain schedules with Primavera P6, review baseline programs, monitor progress, coordinate with the Resident Engineer, and prepare progress reports while supporting EOT analyses and recovery plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 15 years of construction planning experience with microtunneling.
Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Strong knowledge of underground construction standards.
PE license preferred; PMP a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and update project schedules (design, procurement, construction).
Review baseline programmes for contractual compliance and resources.
Monitor progress and analyse variances; propose corrective actions.
Coordinate with Resident Engineer and teams to reflect updates on site schedules.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with milestones and risks.
Evaluate EOT claims and revised programmes per contract procedures.
Develop progress measures and performance indicators for control.
