Job summary

Sightspectrum in the United Arab Emirates seeks an ERP specialist to oversee Navision and LS Retail deployments across HO and POS environments. You will configure Master data, create stores, set up POS systems, and manage user roles, ensuring smooth data movement between the HO and POS databases.

Responsibilities include developing and modifying tables, pages, code units, and reports; debugging Navision, backing up objects, and producing user manuals.

• Debugging Navision code, Code merging in objects, Objects backup
• User manuals creation for the new functionalities
• New Reports creation and sending report outputs through automatic email to users
• Creation of GL accounts, GL setups, Posting groups & Posting setups
• Costing job execution and COGS verification
• Month End & Year End closing process
• Customers creation, Customer based pricing, Customer based offers in the POS
• Creation and modification of Approvals & Workflows for new and existing users
• Fix Backoffice user issues in posting Sales Order, PR, Approvals, PO, GRN & Undo GRN
• Assistance during creation of Item master, Recipe, UOM, UOM Conversion & Locations
• HHT setups. Syncing data to Handheld Terminals
• Locations, Zones, Bins, Inventory posting groups & setups creation
• Fix Backoffice user issues in Item journal, Whse. Item Journal, Pick, Transfer Order, Box contents & Stock movements
• Monitor data movement from HO to POS and POS to HO. Take necessary action on data movement

LS Retail Mandatory Experience

• Scheduler jobs and sub jobs creation, modification, deletion & execution of jobs
• Push data through Normal or By Actions jobs. Delete log tables
• Fix cash room team user issues in Statement postings

Installation

• Installation & Setups of Navision, Data Director & SQL Server in POS databases and in user systems

POS Database

• Creation of new POS database from scratch in new POS machine
• Setting up Functionality, Hardware, Interface & Menu profiles for new or existing database
• POS interface modifications & buttons re-arrangements
• Tender type creation, Tender based discounts, Linking GL account to the Tender types
• POS Bill print setup
• Barcode Scanner, Printer, Drawer, KOT hardware setups
• Creation of retail users, Staff login creation, Assigning roles to the staff, Staff deactivation
• Creation of new POS commands and assigning to buttons
• Info codes & Vouchers creation
