Arcera in the UAE/KSA region seeks an experienced Head of Market Access to shape pricing, reimbursement, and policy for current and pipeline medicines. The role focuses on aligning regional access with global strategy and developing robust HTA readiness across META markets.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, build payer relationships, and drive value messaging using economic models and real-world evidence to optimize patient access and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, or Public Health; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of market access or health economics experience in pharma.
• Experience across META markets and therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record in securing access and reimbursement for innovative products.
• Understanding of regional policy, pricing regulations and healthcare systems.
• Strong market access, pricing, and reimbursement expertise.
• Strategic thinking with global direction and local execution.
• Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with economic modeling, health outcomes, and value communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional market access strategies for current and pipeline products.
• Align pricing, reimbursement, and policy with portfolio strategy and commercial goals.
• Lead HTA readiness and payer dialogue across META markets.
• Build relationships with payers, policy makers and health authorities.
• Shape pricing governance with Global Market Access and country teams.
• Support country teams in P&R submissions and negotiations.
• Develop regional value dossiers and economic models.
• Monitor market access KPIs and adjust strategies based on insights.
• Represent Arcera in external forums and associations to shape access dialogue.
