Job summary

Burj Line Builders in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Tenders & Contracts Manager to lead its tendering department, succeeding a long-serving manager in a structured handover.

You will manage end-to-end tendering from opportunity capture to contract signature, oversee a team of engineers, ensure accurate MEP estimates, negotiate with clients, and manage FIDIC-based contracts to win high-rise residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 15 years in MEP construction with strong tendering and contracts experience.
• Strong exposure to high-rise residential and commercial building projects.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts with knowledge of FIDIC conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers preparing tenders and reviewing work.
• Ensure tender pricing reflects project costs and is competitive.
• Identify new project opportunities across high-rise residential and commercial developments.
• Prepare, review and finalize contracts, including FIDIC-based contracts, and manage risk.
• Lead client discussions and negotiations through to contract award.
