Al Habtoor Group is seeking an organized MEP Store Keeper to control construction materials, manage site tool inventories, and prevent theft on busy building sites in Dubai. You will handle daily store room duties and ensure accurate records.

The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and reliable use of ERP inventory systems. Company accommodation is provided along with health training under UAE development project standards.

Qualifications

• Material knowledge to identify electrical cables and plumbing pipes by appearance.
• Physical strength to lift heavy boxes and place on storage shelves.
• Accurate record-keeping of tool and equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries to confirm items are undamaged.
• Update ERP inventory system when issuing PPE and tools.
• Organize heavy valves and brackets on racks for quick access.
• Secure containers and padlocks at end of shift.

Al Habtoor Group requires highly organized MEP Store Keepers to control expensive construction materials, manage site tool inventories, and prevent material theft at the busy building sites.

Daily Store Room Tasks:

• Inspect incoming delivery trucks to confirm the received steel pipes have no deep rust or physical damage from long transportation.
• Update the digital ERP inventory system constantly when issuing safety helmets and thick leather gloves to the new sub-contractor teams.
• Organize heavy plumbing valves and metal brackets logically on the strong metal racks so site engineers can find them quickly during emergencies.
• Lock the main shipping container doors tightly with heavy metal padlocks at the end of the evening shift to secure the valuable copper materials completely.

Rules for Selection:

• Material Knowledge: Identifying the exact difference between various electrical cables and plumbing pipes just by looking at their physical shape and color.
• Physical Strength: Lifting heavy boxes of ceramic tiles or sharp metal nails from the dusty ground straight onto the high storage shelves.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining perfectly clean physical signature books to track exactly which worker took the expensive power tools.
