Job summary

Leading Edge is seeking an experienced MEP Site Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee mechanical works on high-rise building projects in Dubai. The role requires hands-on site execution, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of site experience in mechanical systems, including plumbing, drainage, water supply, and firefighting.

Qualifications

• Site execution experience on high-rise buildings is required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all mechanical MEP site activities.
• Coordinate daily site operations with consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specs, and standards.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety for timely delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues during construction.
• Plan material requirements, manpower, and site resources.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and safety requirements.
• Liaise with project management to meet milestones.
