Job summary

CARBON GENERAL CONTRACTING L L C in the UAE seeks an experienced MEP Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate day-to-day MEP installation works across HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical and ELV systems.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications, ensure works are executed per shop drawings and QA/QC requirements, and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and the design team to resolve on-site issues, while supporting testing, commissioning

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of UAE MEP site experience with a contracting company.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing & commissioning and UAE authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day MEP installation works on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, civil and design teams to resolve site issues.
• Raise and close inspection requests, IRs/WIRs and material inspections with the consultant.
• Monitor progress, manpower and materials; prepare daily/weekly site reports.
• Support testing, commissioning and authority inspections (DEWA, Civil Defence).
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements at site.

Job description

We are a UAE-based general contracting company looking for an experienced MEP Site Engineer for our ongoing construction projects.

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day MEP installation works at site HVAC plumbing drainage fire fighting electrical and ELV.

Ensure works are executed as per approved shop drawings specifications method statements and QA QC requirements.

Coordinate with subcontractors consultants civil team and MEP design team to resolve site issues.

Raise and close inspection requests IRs WIRs and material inspections with the consultant.

Monitor progress manpower and materials and prepare daily weekly site reports.

Support testing commissioning and authority inspections DEWA Civil Defence etc Ensure compliance with HSE requirements at site.

Currently located in the UAE (candidates outside the UAE will not be considered).

3 to 5 years of experience as an MEP Site Engineer in the UAE with a construction / contracting company (contracting field experience is a must).

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing & commissioning and UAE authority requirements.

Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.

Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
