Job summary

confidential, a UAE-based construction company, seeks an experienced MEP Officer to coordinate and monitor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities. You will ensure works align with approved drawings, project specs, quality standards, and safety rules across sites.

You will review drawings, control installations, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and report progress while maintaining thorough MEP records and compliance with UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in MEP projects, construction, or facilities management.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily MEP activities across project sites.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related works.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Monitor MEP installation progress and report delays or technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Ensure MEP installations follow approved specifications and standards.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
• Monitor materials, equipment, manpower, and site requirements.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Identify technical problems and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working procedures.
• Follow up on pending work, snags, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance or repair activities when required.
• Maintain accurate MEP documentation and records.
