Job summary

LeadingEdge HR Solutions is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for a growing UAE hospitality facilities management client. This role oversees MEP operations across a premium property, leads maintenance teams and contractors, and drives energy efficiency and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in MEP management in UAE/GCC, with hands-on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS and CAFM experience, and holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of MEP management experience in hospitality, hotels, or facilities management in the UAE or GCC region.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and CAFM systems.
• Proven track record managing maintenance teams, contractors, and operational activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• UAE or GCC hospitality or facilities management background is preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with valid residency and right to work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP operations and maintenance activities across the facility.
• Lead and supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and CAFM systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and performance updates for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and energy efficiency initiatives.
