Job summary

Leadingedgeme is hiring an experienced MEP Manager to oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations across a UAE hospitality/ facilities portfolio. You will lead maintenance teams and contractors to deliver reliable facility performance.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS and CAFM systems, with 5–7 years of UAE/GCC experience. Based onsite in the UAE, a valid work permit is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of MEP management experience in hospitality, hotels, or facilities management in the UAE or GCC region.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and CAFM systems.
• Proven track record managing maintenance teams, contractors, and operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP operations and maintenance activities across the facility.
• Lead and supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and CAFM systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and performance updates for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and energy efficiency initiatives.

Role Overview

Our Client is a growing organisation in the UAE seeking an experienced MEP Manager with a strong hospitality, hotel, or facilities management background. The successful candidate will oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations and lead teams and contractors to deliver seamless facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) operations and maintenance activities across the facility.
• Lead and supervise maintenance teams and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Manage HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing, BMS (Building Management Systems), and CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5 to 7 years of MEP management experience within hospitality, hotels, or facilities management in the UAE or GCC region — mandatory.
• Hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and CAFM systems.
• Proven track record managing maintenance teams, contractors, and operational activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• UAE or GCC hospitality or facilities management background is strongly preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with valid residency and legal right to work.
