Job summary

ApplyMint is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer for residential projects in Dubai. You will manage complete MEP execution for multi-storey buildings, coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and firefighting works from installation through testing and handover.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on MEP field experience, with a background in G+4+ residential projects and coordination with architectural and civil

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on MEP construction/site execution experience.
• Experience in multi-storey residential/apartment buildings (G+4 and above).
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems.
• Experience with building construction/main contractor, residential developer or MEP contractor environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise MEP execution of multi-storey residential projects (G+4 and above) from installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate all MEP activities with architectural, structural and civil works; review drawings and resolve clashes.
• Monitor MEP subcontractors, manpower, materials, quality and progress; ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and authority requirements.
• Manage inspections, RFIs, material/shop drawing submissions, testing & commissioning, snagging and final handover.

Job Description:

• Manage and supervise the complete MEP execution of multi-storey residential/apartment projects (G+4 and above), covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and associated building services from installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate all MEP activities with architectural, structural and civil works, review shop/coordinated drawings and resolve clashes, technical issues and site constraints before and during execution.
• Monitor MEP subcontractors, manpower, materials, quality and progress, ensuring installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project programme and applicable authority requirements.
• Manage inspections, RFIs, material/shop drawing submissions, testing & commissioning, snagging/de-snagging, authority approvals and final handover, ensuring MEP works are completed on time and to required quality standards.

• Male; 38 years old below, with Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with minimum 5+ years of hands-on MEP construction/site execution experience.
• Mandatory experience in multi-storey residential/apartment building projects of G+4 and above, preferably having completed at least two project through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Must have strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems, including coordination with civil, structural and architectural works.
• Must come from a building construction/main contractor, residential developer or MEP contractor environment.
