Job summary

Al Rostamani Group of Companies LLC is seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer (MEP) in the UAE. The role focuses on designing Electrical Lighting, Small Power and ELV systems for commercial and industrial buildings in line with local codes and standards.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in MEP design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred, with strong knowledge of energy-efficient design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in MEP Projects.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Lighting, Small Power and ELV systems and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to design Electrical Lighting, Small Power and ELV systems for construction projects.
• Perform electrical system calculations and select sizing for cables, lighting and devices.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes and industry standards.
• Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs and verify installations.
• Quality-check design plans for accuracy and completeness.
