Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in the UAE to design electrical systems for construction projects. You will develop SLDs, perform load calculations, and coordinate with MEP teams and contractors to deliver compliant, efficient solutions.

You will work with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux and ETAP to model and simulate designs, ensuring adherence to IEEE, NEC, IEC and local standards. A Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 5–10 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5–10 years of electrical design experience, preferably in the MEP or hotel construction sector.
• Experience with IEEE, NEC, IEC and local standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including SLDs, load schedules and layouts.
• Perform short-circuit and voltage drop calculations.
• Ensure compliance with ADDC, ADM, Civil Defense and other regulators.
• Coordinate with mechanical and structural teams for integrated design.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs and material specifications.
