Job summary

Datco International Electromechanical Contracting Works L.L.C is seeking an experienced MEP Drafting engineer to create detailed MEP drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications. You will work with architects and engineers to integrate systems and conduct site visits for accurate drafting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of MEP drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a LEED/BIM-like certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP drafting within the construction or engineering sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software is essential for success.
• Certification in MEP design or drafting (e.g., LEED, BIM, or similar) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed MEP drawings ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems seamlessly.
• Conduct regular site visits to gather information and validate existing conditions for accurate drafting.
• Utilize CAD software to create, modify, and optimize designs prioritizing efficiency and clarity.
