Job summary

Dishha Staffing Services is looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsman to join their team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for preparing detailed shop and construction drawings, developing layouts for electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of Gulf experience, this role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams. Accommodation and food are provided as benefits.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings.
• Develop electrical layouts for lighting, power (LV) systems and ELV systems.
• Prepare single‑line diagrams (SLD), panel layouts, cable routing and cable tray layouts.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, project managers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on engineering comments and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority standards and international codes.
• Prepare BOQ support drawings and documentation as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Gulf UAE experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience in preparing MEP electrical drawings.
• Good understanding of electrical systems standards and construction practices.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
