Job summary

A leading MEP contracting firm based in Abu Dhabi is looking for experienced MEP Draftsmen. In this role, you will create detailed drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience and be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. A bachelor's degree or certification in MEP drafting is required. This position offers a chance to work closely with design teams and site engineers on dynamic projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as an MEP Draughtsman or similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
• Knowledge of local and international building codes and regulations.

Our client is a leading MEP contracting firm based in AD are looking to hire experienced MEP Draftsmen to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings and plans for MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure that MEP drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
• Review and interpret technical specifications, sketches, and layouts to create accurate and detailed MEP drawings.
• Ensure that MEP drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulation.
• Must be well-versed with ADDC standards.
• Must be well-versed with authorities rules and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of material take-offs, schedules, and cost estimates for MEP systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to address any design or installation issues that may arise during the construction phase.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience as an MEP Draughtsman or similar role
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Knowledge of local and international building codes and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating MEP drawings.
