Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP - HVAC & FPS engineer to design and coordinate HVAC and fire protection for substations. The role requires leading coordination with developers, consultants, and authorities to ensure compliant layouts and tender documents.

You will prepare layouts, BOQs, technical specs, review vendor offers, and support on-site testing and commissioning, with preference for those who have Abu Dhabi project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 7–10 years' experience in HVAC & Fire protection systems for industrial/substation projects.
• Experience with NBC, NFPA, IS codes and client requirements.
• Site execution, testing and commissioning experience.
• Abu Dhabi project experience is a plus.

• Interface with electrical and civil teams for integrated design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and coordination of HVAC for substations.
• Design and coordination Firefighting system such as Hydrant , Water spray system ,Fire Detection & alarm system , Gas suppression system , Heat Tracing system for substations.
• Co-ordination with Developer, consultants, local authorities,
• Preparation of HVAC & FPS layouts, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents
• Interface with electrical and civil teams for integrated design
• Technical evaluation of vendor offers and review of HVAC & FPS drawings
• Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS codes, and client requirements
• Support site execution, testing, and commissioning activities
• Experience in Abu-Dhabi Projects/client will be having added advantage.
