Job summary

Biologix is seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison to join its Medical Affairs team in the Neuromuscular field. You will serve as the scientific expert, build relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs, and provide accurate medical information.

You will engage in advisory boards, scientific meetings, and cross-functional collaboration, while supporting clinical research activities and medical education across assigned territories, including travel to Oman and Kuwait.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and/or Medicine or equivalent.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs or MSL role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Neuromuscular diseases is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and investigators.
  • Provide balanced scientific information on Neuromuscular diseases and products.
  • Execute KOL engagement plans and identify collaboration opportunities.
  • Organize scientific meetings, advisory boards, and educational activities.
  • Respond to medical inquiries in line with guidelines and pharmacovigilance.
  • Support clinical research by identifying sites and collecting insights.
  • Deliver disease awareness and product knowledge training to teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Market Access.
  • Provide scientific support for launches and hospital submissions.
  • Monitor updates in literature and guidelines in Neuromuscular space.
  • Maintain regular field presence and report insights to management.

Job description

Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team and support our Neuromuscular therapeutic area. In this role, you will serve as the scientific expert for assigned products and disease states, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders while providing accurate, balanced, and up-to-date medical information. You will act as a strategic link between the Medical Affairs department and external stakeholders, supporting scientific exchange, medical education, clinical research activities, and cross-functional collaboration.

What Will Your Responsibilities Be?
  • Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, pharmacists, nurses, clinical investigators, and healthcare decision-makers within the Neuromuscular field
  • Provide balanced scientific and medical information on assigned products, competitors, disease states, and emerging developments in Neuromuscular diseases
  • Execute KOL engagement plans and identify opportunities for scientific collaboration and partnership
  • Organize and facilitate scientific meetings, round tables, advisory boards, and educational activities
  • Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
  • Support clinical research activities by identifying investigators, research sites, and collecting scientific insights from the field
  • Deliver disease awareness, product knowledge, and administration training to healthcare professionals and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and Business Development teams to support strategic objectives
  • Provide scientific support for product launches, promotional materials, medical presentations, educational programs, and hospital submissions
  • Monitor and communicate updates in medical literature, treatment guidelines, competitor activities, and market developments within the Neuromuscular therapeutic area
  • Ensure timely reporting of adverse events and compliance with pharmacovigilance requirements and risk management programs
  • Contribute to the development and review of scientific content, medico-marketing materials, medical communications, and educational resources
  • Maintain regular field presence through planned visits and scientific interactions within the assigned territory
  • Prepare activity reports and proactively share medical insights and market feedback with management
  • Support the development of advisory boards, non-interventional studies, post-marketing studies, and medical projects when applicable
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, quality requirements, and local regulations
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and/or Medicine.
  • Previous experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Scientific Liaison, Clinical Research, or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Strong scientific knowledge and interest in Neuromuscular diseases or specialty care therapeutic areas
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple functions
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and compliance awareness
  • Good command of English and strong computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel frequent to Oman and Kuwait, with an estimated travel frequency of approximately 40% and maintain regular field presence
