AppliedAI in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join the Solutions Delivery team as a Medical Coding SME. You will map OP and IP workflows, review ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding, and translate clinical processes into automated Opus workflows.

Qualifications

3-5 years of UAE-based medical coding experience required.
Hands-on experience with OP and IP coding is mandatory.
Strong client-facing communication and documentation skills.
Solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and UAE payer rules.
Ability to map workflows and translate coding to automated Opus outputs.

Responsibilities

Sit with client teams to map current OP/IP coding workflows and document them for automation.
Act as medical coding SME on client calls and workshops.
Review and validate coding assignments for accuracy and UAE regulation compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to test coding features and resolve discrepancies.
Support documentation gaps and ensure Opus reflects real-world coding practices.
Assist in UAT, go-live, and ongoing quality improvements.
