Job summary

PETRA MECHATRONICS MIDDLE EAST TRADING LLC is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer / Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial weighing systems, laboratory instruments, automation equipment, and material handling gear. You will also assist in technical coordination and operations, offering on-site and remote client support.

The role requires knowledge of sensors, load cells, calibration, PLC basics, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation, or related field.
• Knowledge of sensors, load cells, and calibration of instruments (weighing scales, pressure gauges, controllers).
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and control loops.
• Troubleshooting skills (electrical and mechanical).
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission industrial and medical weighing systems, sensors, instruments and lifting equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and component-level maintenance.
• Carry out precise calibration, adjustments, and repairs on weighing equipment.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Utilize modern tools including AI-based tools to improve efficiency and performance while working independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare clear service reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Support or handle sales & operations coordination.

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer / Instrumentation Technician to handle installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial weighing systems, laboratory instruments, automation equipment and material handling equipment while assisting in technical coordination and operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, and commission industrial and medical weighing systems, sensors, instruments and lifting equipment

2. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and component-level maintenance

3. Carry out precise calibration, adjustments, and repairs on weighing equipment

4. Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients

5. Utilize modern tools including AI-based tools to improve efficiency and performance while working independently with minimal supervision

Desired Candidate Profile
