We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial instrumentation, with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems. This role requires a motivated individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience with instrumentation systems and the ability to read complex technical diagrams. A good understanding of electro-mechanical tools is also essential for this position. Additionally, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team while prioritizing tasks according to their urgency.

The Instrument Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial instruments, including calibrations, adjustments, testing, and replacements as needed. You will also conduct inspections of equipment on a regular basis to ensure safety standards are met and provide feedback on any maintenance issues that need attention.

Other duties include:

• troubleshooting electrical systems such as motors, relays, switches, PLCs and other control systems
• preparing reports on findings
• making recommendations for improvement
• helping to train new technicians as needed

The ideal candidate will possess some combination of the following:

• at least 3 years' experience working in industrial instrumentation
• strong knowledge of electrical systems including motors, relays, switches, PLCs and other control systems
• excellent problem solving skills
• ability to read complex technical diagrams
• excellent organizational skills
• knowledge of safety standards related to industrial equipment
• ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed
• excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is beneficial)
• physical dexterity required for frequent standing/bending/reaching/lifting up to 50 lbs.
• certification or degree from an accredited trade school or college is preferred but not required
