Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to oversee mechanical works on our high-rise developments. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure HVAC, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems are delivered to approved drawings and Dubai standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on site supervision experience on towers of G+20 floors or more, preferably in Dubai, Abu

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience managing mechanical works for high-rise projects of G+20 floors or above.
• Experience on high-rise tower construction projects within Dubai preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and supervise mechanical works to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review and monitor HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting installations.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, local codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor progress and identify any technical concerns or deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority regulations.

As part of our Supervision Team, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to oversee and supervise mechanical works on our high-rise developments. The role will work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure that HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable Dubai regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on mechanical engineering professional with strong site supervision experience to contribute to the successful delivery of our major developments in Dubai South and City Projects.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have hands‑on experience managing mechanical works for high‑rise projects of G+20 floors or above.
• Proven experience working on high‑rise tower construction projects is essential, preferably within Dubai. Strong candidates with relevant experience in Abu Dhabi or Sharjah may also be considered.
• Experience covering HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations, particularly Dubai Municipality requirements and applicable codes and standards.
