Job summary

Client of Guildhall seeks a mechanical engineer with hands‑on commissioning experience for Dubai's wastewater sector. The role focuses on installation testing of pumping stations and WWTP assets, with direct involvement in process piping and equipment testing.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and have EPC contractor or consultant experience on WWTPs, STPs or sewerage tunnels, plus GCC project exposure. Commissioning exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on water, wastewater or pumping station projects.
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• EPC contractor or consultant experience on WWTP, STP or sewerage tunnels.
• Commissioning experience is a strong plus.
• GCC project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical installation testing and commissioning of pumping and lift stations.
• Hands-on work with pumps valves screens blowers and odour control units.
• Installation and testing of WWTP process pipework and equipment.
• Reviewing shop drawings submittments and method statements.
• Coordinating with process electrical and ICA teams through to handover.
