Job summary

AECOM Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC, lighting, and building service designs for complex projects on-site. You will produce detailed layouts using AutoCAD, Revit and Revizto, and collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate systems within the building envelope.

Qualifications

• Create designs for HVAC, lighting, power distribution, fire safety, plumbing and energy systems.
• Develop and validate sustainable, energy‑efficient building solutions.
• Coordinate with architects and structural engineers to integrate building services.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and calculations to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD, Revit and Revizto to produce detailed layouts and schematics.
• Manage timelines, budgets and resources to deliver designs on schedule.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and reliability checks.
