AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior Mechanical/MEP engineer to review and ensure compliance of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems with project specs and codes. You will analyze energy efficiency, identify design issues, and coordinate with architects and engineers to integrate MEP into buildings.

The role requires 12+ years in mechanical/MEP projects, including 8+ years in UAE, with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Cash flow rewards, and site-based leadership are offered.

Qualifications

Experience in Mechanical related type projects required.
Construction Supervision with a Consultancy; total 12+ years (8+ years in UAE).
Buildings/High-rise/Villa project experience preferred.
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Knowledge of installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Overview

This role focuses on reviewing and ensuring compliance of MEP designs (HVAC plumbing fire protection district cooling grey water treatment and automated waste management systems) with project specifications codes and sustainability standards such as Mostadam and LEED. The position involves analyzing energy efficiency identifying design issues providing technical recommendations and coordinating with architects engineers and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.

Your role

MEP Designs review for compliance with project specifications standards and codes including HVAC plumbing fire protection systems district cooling plants grey water treatment plant & Automatic waste management plant.
Analyze and optimize the energy efficiency and sustainability of mechanical systems.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of MEP designs through thorough review and analysis.
Identify design issues and discrepancies in MEP systems.
Provide technical advice and recommendations to design teams to improve MEP system designs.
Verify that all MEP designs comply with relevant building codes standards and regulations.
Prepare and maintain detailed review reports specifications and other project documentation. Knowledge of Mostadam LEED.
Knowledge of installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

About you

Qualifications

Experience in Mechanical related type projectsrequired.
Candidates must have experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy with a minimum of 12 years of overall experience (minimum 8 years in the UAE).
Buildings / High-rise / Villa project experience is preferred.
For the Engineer position aBachelordegree in Mechanical Engineering isrequired.

Specific Skills Required

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
At least 12 years of experience in MEP.
Good knowledge in basic design requirements familiar with Mechanical methodologies and installation processes and procedures. Knowledge of the Building Codes.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Competent at writing reports can present views clearly and concisely in good written English.
Detailed knowledge of construction techniques.
